Can contributing give rise to a greater sense of purpose?
The Contribution Project explores whether acts of contribution, such as giving time, effort, or resources to benefit others, can cultivate a deeper sense of purpose in our lives. Through interdisciplinary research spanning psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral science, we investigate how contributing shapes well-being, meaning, and human flourishing. Our work examines the mechanisms underlying contribution's effects and its potential applications in education, organizations, and communities.
